A golden ray of sunshine, a starry sky, the northern lights: light contributes to the magic of travel. The desire to capture this glow led master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud to look for a color to weave into the conception of his fragrance. During a visit to one of Louis Vuitton's leather workshops, he watched as a master craftsman transformed raspberry-colored leather into a luxurious bag. The material, which radiated like a ripe fruit, inspired his idea: to combine the scent of leather with that of berries. He created the composition using osmanthus, a white flower with a wild, apricot-like scent, as well as iris and saffron. Mille Feux is like a fire of emotions. A firework.
