At the same time, this perfume is also a tribute to the adoring Audrey Hepburn—whom, according to Olivier Creed, his grandfather loved and admired. He always intended to compose a perfume for Audrey. And since it is a tradition in the Creed family to always pass the fortunes of the house from father to son, in keeping with the Creed motto "from father to son," it was only natural that one of the successors—now Olivier Creed—would realize his grandfather's unfulfilled dream and compose Love in Black.
Violets are the theme of this creation. Violets enchant, among other things, in the top note, woven into exquisite Virginia cedarwood aromas. The heart note crowns the perfume with precious, refined Florentine iris accords, underpinned by clove nuances and sensual Tonkin musk. Surprisingly, the base notes are also influenced by Grasser violets, and with black currant and exquisite roses from Burgundy, they take on an elegant and subtle, tart-fruity dimension.
Love in Black – a perfume like the famous “little black dress” – with which Audrey Hepburn conquered the fashion world and the hearts of all women and men in the classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.
