Description
To enrich the Collection Matières, I wanted to focus on the tonka bean, a material often used in perfumery but too rarely highlighted. It's a profound material, full of contrasts, sometimes reminiscent of vanilla leather or the sweetness of almonds, but also revealing chocolatey facets. For Velvet Tonka, I wanted to pay tribute to my Moroccan heritage, but also to the iconography linked to this region of the world through aromas and landscapes. The Velvet Tonka perfume is based on a trilogy of tonka bean, almond, and orange blossom, set against an amber background. The woody velvet accord, built around Amyris wood, is expressed through a honey-vanilla note, soft but with an addictive and powdery touch.
