This creation combines elements such as orange, coriander and blackberry in its top note. At its heart it has oriental nuances of cinnamon, honey as well as noble guaiac wood and laurel. The base contains exquisite notes of amber, oud and opoponax.

Since ancient times, the legendary country of Oman has been famous for unique incense and exotic perfumes. However, the trade in the valuable product as well as the entire perfume production process was characterized by ups and downs and was even almost completely forgotten at times. Fortunately, this time came to an end in 1983, when the Omani royal family under His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said commissioned His Highness Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud al bu Said, also a member of the royal family, to bring the ancient Arabic perfume culture back to their homeland in order to revive it allow. This event marked the birth of the Amouage brand, a luxurious, internationally oriented fragrance house with oriental roots. To realize his vision, Sayyid Hamand spared neither expense nor effort. The house's first fragrance was the classic “Gold”. Launched to the acclaim of the world press, the perfume immediately became a huge success.
